Once a month I chat with someone about Gloriously Ordinary Lives and how it resonates with them for the Gloriously Ordinary Sundays Podcast.

In episode 11, I chat with Sam Clark, Chief Executive of Learning Disability England.

We talk about the importance of people opening their own front doors as we share a new campaign - I Open My Own Front Door, Do You? - by Gloriously Ordinary Lives in partnership with Learning Disability England.

Together, we reflect on the barriers people face, what it means when someone's home is also someone else's workplace, and how the ‘status' of someone's home can seem to make this more complicated.

Find out more about the campaign, here.

Learn more about the work Learning Disability England has already been doing with Good Lives.

Have a listen - I'd love to hear your thoughts!

PS. Have you heard about the upcoming workshop for Social Work Week?

Creating Gloriously Ordinary Lives - workshop. Social Work Week is all about taking time to reflect on your role as a social worker. Join Tricia Nicoll to explore what Gloriously Ordinary Lives means for you as a social worker and to pause and think.
