Gloriously Ordinary Sundays - 7th July 2024

Once a month I chat with someone about Gloriously Ordinary Lives and how it resonates with them for the Gloriously Ordinary Sundays Podcast.

In episode 6, I share three different voting experiences that occurred on election day - mine, The Girl's and The Boy's.

A text message from The Boy that made me smile

Our right to vote means our voices are heard in the democratic process, but it also means participation through representation in the shaping of policies that impact our lives.

As Test Five of Gloriously Ordinary Lives says, 'We might think about these things as our purpose, our being part of something. Doing the things that matter to us and that make us matter.'

I reflect on the need for the 'web of support' that we speak about at Social Care Future. The web that recognises the human rights and civic duty around our franchise.

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
